Press Release Body: February 16, 2008 - Corpus Christi, TX - Comedy Central star Jade Esteban Estrada will bring his hilarious comedy style Thursday-Saturday, February 21-23, 2008 to Crazy Times Comedy Club located at 5858 SPID located in the lower level of Sunrise Mall in Corpus Christi, Texas. Show times are 8:30 p.m. on Thursday and 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $10 at the door. There is a college and military discount of $5 off with valid ID on Thursdays. Estrada's last appearance in Corpus Christi was in March of 2007 when he earned a standing ovation for his solo comedic performance of "Tortilla Heaven" at the Metropolitan Community Church of Corpus Christi. "Laughs will roll in from audience members," states Bobby Bush of the Corpus Christi Caller-Times.
The Canadian-based comedy web site The Comedy Green Room recently named Estrada the 'Comic of the Week.'
Estrada has been featured on "The Graham Norton Effect" on Comedy Central and most recently has been cast in the new video game "Bruiser and Scratch" for Steel Penny Games. His music can be heard on "The Shield" on the FX Network. Other television appearances include "Friday Night Lights" and "30 Rock" on NBC and "In The Life" on PBS.

The former Charo choreographer and scratch vocalist for the Back Street Boys has been known for his highly acclaimed solo theatre shows including "Tortilla Heaven" and "ICONS." Estrada recently opened his tenth solo show "Chek It, Baby: A Fabulous Explanation of Anton Chekhov's Fiercest Plays" at the Twin Cities Chekhov Festival in Minneapolis.
The San Antonio native began his comedic career when he won the Best Amateur Comic in New York Competition in 1995 at Stand Up N.Y. He has appeared at Rivercenter Comedy Club and Gotham Comedy Club among others.
Estrada appears in the films "The Innocent Killers," "Callous," "The Blue Note," and "Crosshairs" this year.
